Sophos Anti-Virus Software Purchase

If you now own Sophos, that license expires on 3/27/09. Our previous subscription cost was $68 for two years. By purchasing a three year subscription this year, we will get it at an almost identical price per year and avoid the price increase on their 2 year package. There will be no sales tax collected as SMUG is now tax exempt.
We are offering the three year package to MIAMUG, TMUG, and SMUG members. The 3 year subscription will be $100.00 In the
interest of full disclosure: Our actual cost is $99.50 per subscription but to cover the additional costs (registered mail, certified check, etc.) we have rounded it to $100.00
What you will be purchasing is a membership in our total license package and you will be entitled to download any versions they offer: Macintosh OS X (Power and Intel), Windows, or Unix. They no longer offer a version for Mac OS 9. If you need more than one version, you may download whatever you need and use the same license code you will receive to activate any of them. You do not need to purchase more than one as long as you are using it on only one machine at a time. You do not have to be a previous purchaser. Any UG member is welcome as are your immediate family members. You may also purchase another membership for a family member not living in your home.
If you are interested in purchasing with us, please fill in the information below and attach a check payable to SMUG or Saginaw Mac Users Group for $100.00. These checks will not be deposited in the SMUG account until we are sure we have the minimum 50
purchasers. They will be returned if we do not meet the 50 minimum. You must submit your payment by March 1, 2009, so we can take care of the financial payment, sign the agreement, provide the documents they request, and get the new access codes to you.
If you purchased Sophos two years ago, remember that after 3/27/09 your codes will no longer give you access to the virus definitions and updates online. The Sophos version you have will continue working, but you will not get any further updates.
