On your Dock in the lower left corner is a black circle with what looks like a gas gauge on your car, a dashboard. :) If you click on it, you will see a few icons like a calendar and a clock. These are little programs called Widgets. There are thousands of them out there that can make your life a lot easier or if not easier at least more fun. What are some others?
I have ones that addresses my envelopes, track UPS and Fed Ex packages, Suduko, converts almost anything like U.S. dollars to a foreign country’s money or length or weights, my city temperature and 5 day weather forecast, a Sing That iTunes and many more. How easy and fun is that?
Where can you find these great programs - Widgets? Go to: http://www.apple.com/downloads. Click on Top Widgets on the right side of the screen and take your pick of 3416 Widgets.
They do take up memory. Be careful not to install them all at once if you are short on memory. You can just put them in a folder and switch them by installing and uninstalling. Enjoy!
