I want that?
by Del Conkright

Have you ever been surfing the net and found something you wanted? Not a picture! I covered that under “Get the Picture?”

A. Maybe it is a quote. Maybe it is a website but you don’t want to put it in your Bookmarks. It could be a picture with an article.
B. It could just be a window showing what’s in a folder. Or you want a picture of what’s on your desktop for a demonstration.

This is why I love my Mac! I suggest:

A. Just click and drag to highlight the words you want to save. Then click on the highlighted words and drag and drop them on your desktop. Now what could be easier? In your browser address: just click three times and the computer will highlight the address for you.
Now doesn’t that beat grabbing for a pen and paper to write it down or using Stickies. You don’t know what Stickies are? That’s another story.

B. I want a picture of what I have typed so far. Here it is:
Just hold down the Open-Apple, Shift, and 4 keys together. The curser changes to crosshairs. Click and drag over the area you want to save. That picture will be saved on your computer. I have told the program SnapzPro to put it on my desktop. It is in your applications folder. Open Snapz Pro and click on the box next to send to and tell it where you want your snap shots put. Enjoy
